Woman Assaulted and Left ‘Badly Shaken’ in Attempted Car Hijacking in West Belfast

West Belfast was left shaken last night with an appalling incident of a woman being attacked when someone attempted to steal her car. She was badly shaken but not seriously hurtThis brazen attack occurred near homes, making people anxious and worried about their safety and the rising crime in the area.

The incident took place at around 9:00 PM when a woman in her mid-30s parked her car near her house. Two masked persons approached her car and demanded the keys. When she replied in the negative, one of the attackers struck her and tried to yank her out of the car.

She had a very traumatic time, yet still, she was able to scream for help. Her attackers ran away without taking anything from her, and the emergency services were called to assist her with minor injuries in the very place where she was attacked. But emotionally she is still very upset.
